They are made from natural materials and they will burn cleaner and longer. Soy candles will distribute the scents easier and it is much simpler to clean up if you spill it. The only drawback to soy wax is it is just a little bit more expensive than paraffin.
Soy candles allow dyes to be mixed in and fragrance. For every pound of soy wax you use, you will need 1.12 ounces of essential oil. After your candle has cooled, you can then remove it from the mold. Soy wax does not work as well with novelty candles or pillar candles. Soy wax is a softer wax and does not hold its shape like paraffin.
